About Us...

Our aim is to be the decorator’s first choice for all the materials they need to get the job done.  This has been the cornerstone of our business since it was founded over 100 years ago in 1904.

As the country’s largest independent decorators’ merchant we stock and supply all brands of paint, wood protection, tools and wallpaper as well as extensive stocks of brushes, rollers, ladders, steps and a vast array of associated accessories and sundries too.  If you are looking for a product that we don’t keep in stock we will always do our best to source it for you. Just ask in one of our branches or call us for help.

We work closely with all the suppliers and manufacturers in our industry. Many of our staff have been decorator’s themselves and many of our staff have built up long service with us meaning they have a vast wealth of experience they are happy to share with you. We’re sure you will find Brewers commitment to the decorator is second to none.

 

Over 30 Brewer trade representatives support the needs of larger decorators and are on hand to offer advice – be it help with product selection and availability or help with problem surfaces. We have close working relationships with all manufacturers so we can co-ordinate specifications and specific technical product support where necessary.

We offer two types of accounts; either a straightforward cash account or subject to our terms and conditions we are very happy to open credit accounts for customers. All our branches can supply paint through both the ICI Contract Direct scheme and the Crown Indirect Supply scheme. Click here for more information on accounts.

All of our 130+ branches carry a comprehensive range of decorating products and are able to order in special items for you either from the rest of our branch network or from specialist suppliers. All branches are linked through a daily inter-branch delivery network so they can draw products from elsewhere very quickly.

Every branch has the latest technology in colour matching.  Bring in a swatch of paint or anything else you are trying to match (it’s best to have at least 4cm square) and we will mix the closest colour.

It’s one of the most accurate systems available.

 

We deliver free of charge to your site, home, or office anywhere within our trading area. Just phone, fax or email your order to your local branch and we will organise delivery to you.
