Bow bells ring out for Brewers

Early last December, a further decorating business came under the Brewer umbrella with the purchase of Bow Décor Ltd situated in Burdett Road, London.  Just a two minute drive from the O2 arena in Greenwich, it is an ideal pick-up point, especially for decorators working in the burgeoning east London area.  This is, in fact, our first outlet in this part of the capital and strengthens our distribution facilities across the region.

The business started in 1969 and flourished, especially during the 70s and 80s when several shops were rented in Burdett Road before it settled at No.95.  The opportunity then arose to buy a piece of land on which was built No.99 from where the business now trades.

Bow Décor stocks mainly Johnstone’s and Dulux Trade paints, supported by some Crown Trade coatings, as well as a full range of decorating accessories.

The premises are to be found about three miles east of St Mary-le-Bow, the site of the famous Bow bells, and they reckon on a clear day with no traffic noise and brisk prevailing wind you can just about hear the chimes ringing out.
