Albany Durable Matt Emulsion was launched in the summer by Brewers and has quickly become popular with decorators who want a longlasting, value-for-money finish.  It was originally supplied in the full range of 600 Colour Scope colours and the BS 4800 shades.

Now this range has been extended to cover all 112 colours in Traditions to give decorators even more choice, especially when creating the classic styles of times gone by.  The product is 500% stronger than a standard vinyl matt and has a class 1 scrub rating in line with BS  EN ISO 11998.  It is also resistant to most common stains, which can be removed easily with soap and water, without affecting the surface appearance.

The extension of Durable Matt into Traditions is a natural progression for the Albany brand and will be a welcome boost for decorators who specialise in design styles and colour themes from the Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian eras.  Traditions is manufactured using the latest technology providing a uniform matt finish and superb opacity.  It has no unpleasant odours and the water borne formulation is low in VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds).

Traditions dries quickly so that decorators can complete jobs with little disruption.  This is particularly relevant for businesses, such as hotels, guest houses and the like, when scheduling their redecorations to keep downtime to a minimum.
