We are proud to announce that we have recently acquired two new branches in London from Paint Service Co. – one in Victoria and one in Hammersmith. 

This extends the Brewers offering in Central London, adding to our Edgware Road, Peckham and Islington branches.

Paint Service Co. was founded in 1946 and has been a main source of decorating materials for the local trade since its opening. Both business have been owned and managed by Tony Connolly for the last 18 years. Tony’s father Dick, was the ICI representative for Putney and Surbiton, so collectively, their experience and knowledge has been vital to Brewers development. 

As part of the acquisition, Tony will remain as manager at the Hammersmith branch and Joel Bevan will continue as manager at Victoria.  Their experienced teams of staff, who have extensive knowledge and understanding of the decorating supplies industry, will be staying too. Both branches stock a complete range of decorating materials including Dulux, Crown, Sadolin, Sikkens and Little Greene and now the full Brewers range including Albany paint.  

Tony Connolly, branch manager, comments: “Paint Service Co. has been a very successful business and we’ve been lucky enough to have some extremely loyal customers over the years; I am confident all will repeat their business now that we are a Brewers branch as well as gaining lots of new business.  I have lots of trust in Brewers and the new prospects it can offer both branches, we look forward to being part of such a prestigious company.”
