Liquid roofing systems involve the protection of roof structures against all weather conditions with a cold applied material producing a seamless waterproof barrier. Coatings are available for a variety of substrates and are generally applied with a brush or roller.

Surfaces for which coatings are available include: concrete, roofing felt, existing bitumen coatings, rigid PVCu, corrugated iron, lead, metal, asbestos and slate on pitched and flat roofs. Many of the roofing products can be applied in wet weather conditions. 

Generally products in this category are black though there are some solar reflective products available in silver, white and grey.
