Additional information

Permoglaze High Opacity Matt Emulsion is moisture vapour permeable, making it ideal for allowing new plaster to dry through. The matt finish helps to mask surface imperfections.

Preparation
Ensure surfaces are sound, dean, dry and free from loose, powdery or flaking material, efflorescence, dirt, grease, wax and polish. Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding. Treat organic growth with a proprietary fungicidal treatment. New plaster and very porous surfaces should be sealed with a mist coat of High Opacity Matt thinned up to 40% with clean water. For further advice contact the manufacturer.

Application
  • Stir before use.
  • Apply by brush, roller or airless spray.
  • To the prepared surface apply 1 or 2 coats of Permoglaze High Opacity Matt as required.
  • Normally no thinning is required for brush or roller application. For airless spray application, thin up to 10% with clean water.
  • Do not overthin.
  • Do not apply when air or substrate temperatures are likely to fall below 8°C or when the relative humidity is above 30% during application or the drying period.
