Macpherson Undercoat is a high VOC content finish. It is an oil based product that is suitable for interior and exterior use. It is touch dry in 3-5 hours and recoatable after 16-24 hours.

Additional information
For Interior and Exterior use. Alkyd based, easy to apply with excellent covering power and flow producing a non-absorbent surface suitable for overcoating with Macpherson's Gloss finish. For most correctly prepared and primed internal and external surfaces.
Preparation and Application
- Ensure all surfaces are sound, dry, clean and free from dirt, oil, grease or other contamination.
- Bare surfaces should be primed with the appropriate Macpherson Primer.
- Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding.
- Previously glossed surfaces must be thoroughly abraded.
- Stir well before use.
- A characteristic of the new technology used in this product is that whiteness intensifies as the paint dries.
- Supplied for use by brush or roller.
- An additional coat of Macpherson Undercoat may be necessary over some dark backgrounds.
- Do not apply in wet or damp weather or when temperatures drop below 8°C.
- Covers approximately 15m² per litre depending upon surface texture.
- Touch dry in 4-6 hours, recoatable after 16 hours under normal drying conditions.
- Clean equipment with a proprietary cleaner immediately after use.

Ensure this pack is stored upright and secure at all times. Crown Paints Limited cannot accept liability for damage caused by spillage. Do not store below 5°C or above 40°C.
