Ensure all floor surfaces to be painted are sound, clean, dry and completely free from oil, grease and polish.
New concrete floors should preferably be allowed to mature for several months before painting and the moisture content should be checked before work commences.
Concrete surfaces should also be free of dust, grit, cement fines and laitance. Very dense smooth surfaces (such as power floated concrete) normally require to be acid etched before painting in order to promote satisfactory adhesion.
- Stir well before use.
- Apply two coats, allowing overnight drying between coats under normal drying conditions.
- Where necessary, to ease application, the first coat may be thinned with up to 5% by volume of White Spirit.
- Apply by brush or roller.
Remove as much product as possible from application equipment before cleaning. Clean equipment immediately after use with White Spirit or Turpentine Substitute. Some local authorities have special facilities for disposal of waste coatings. Do not empty product into drains or watercourses. Replace lid firmly.
