All surfaces must be sound, clean, suitably dry and free from anything that will interfere with the adhesion of the materials to be applied. Powdery, polished plaster or dense surfaces should be primed with Crown Trade Timonox Bonding Primer thinned as per the container instructions. Porous surfaces and paper faced plasterboard should be ‘mist’ coated with Crown Trade Timonox Vinyl Matt thinned with 40% clean water.
Previously Decorated Surfaces
On extremely chalky, powdery or unstable surfaces Crown Trade Stabilising Solution should be used.
Stir well before use. Ensure all application tools are clean and dry. Apply over all areas, one full coat of Timonox Anti-Graffiti Flame Retardant Glaze by brush or short pile roller.
All ‘cutting in’ should be completed during roller applications whilst the Glaze is still ‘wet’.
The spreading rate must not exceed 15m² per litre (minimum wet film thickness 67 micrometres).
Do not thin.
Return any surplus material to a suitable empty container for disposal. Clean equipment with clean Epoxy Thinner immediately after use.
