Additional information

Looking for an easy way to achieve a textured finish on your ceiling and permanently cover hairline cracks and blemishes? Polycell Textured Ceilings completely covers most common ceiling imperfections in one quick and easy application providing the textured finish you were looking for. This flexible, white and non-yellowing finish contains Polyfilla technology to permanently stop cracks from reappearing.

Trade Tip
Moisten the roller before first loading to make application easier.

2.5 litres will cover 12m² to 17m² depending on textured finish.
Surface dry in 2-4 hours (depending on conditions)

Before you start...
Cover furniture and carpets. Make sure the ceiling is clean, dry and free from loose particles and mould. Fill any holes and cracks larger than hairline with an appropriate Polycell Polyfilla and sand down well. Seal new, bare and porous surfaces with Polycell Problem Wall Primer.

How to use...
  • Stir the product well and transfer to a roller tray for easier roller loading. You'll get the best result if you use a foam roller for maximum texture or medium pile roller for a finer texture.
  • Apply a thick even coat to the ceiling using short criss-cross strokes, until you have covered about 1m². Finish this area by rolling lightly in one direction. Continue across the ceiling 1m² at a time. To finish off, touch in corners, edges and around light fittings with a small brush, stippling to match the texture.
  • A second coat may be applied once the first coat is fully dry (overnight).

After use..
Remove excess paint from tools before cleaning with warm water. Do not
use or store in extremes of temperature and protect from frost.
