Zinsser Perma-White Exterior Satin is a high performance, exterior paint which is uniquely formulated to protect surfaces whilst preventing mildew and mold growth on the paint film for 5 years. 100% acrylic product which produces a beautiful, durable, tough and washable finish, ideal for resisting dirt pickup and moisture.
15 year durability guarantee and provides excellent resistance against blistering, cracking and flaking as well as protection against rain and severe weather. Easy to apply with a synthetic brush, roller, pad or sprayer. Touch dry in 2 hours and apply a second coat after 2 hours.

Additional information
Designed for all exterior surfaces, Perma-White® Exterior is ideal for new or previously painted wood, UPVC, stucco, brick, stone, cured concrete and more. In many instances Perma-White® Exterior is self-priming and will bond to existing paints without sanding so for many refurbishing jobs there is no need to purchase a separate primer. After removing existing mould and mildew, two coats of Perma-White® Exterior will ensure that any exterior looks bright and beautiful for years.
Zinsser Perma-White® Exterior gives excellent resistance against cracking, blistering and flaking and protects against rain and severe weather. Zinsser Perma-White® Exterior provides a long lasting finish, is easy to apply and has excellent colour retention.
Surface Preparation
Surfaces should be clean, dry, sound and free of any contamination that may interfere with adhesion. Remove all loose or peeling paint and chalky paint residue. Sand edges of any remaining paint film until smooth. Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960 paint surfaces as they may contain harmful lead. Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding. New concrete, masonry and other related surfaces must be cured at least 30 days before priming. Remove all existing mould and mildew before painting. To effectively remove mould and mildew, use Blackfriar Fungicidal Wash. Timber at risk from decay or insect attack should be treated with Blackfriar Clear Wood Preservative.
Previously painted surfaces: Apply two coats of Zinsser Perma-White® Exterior. Very hard or glossy surfaces should be primed with Zinsser Bulls Eye 123®.
New or Bare Surfaces: Concrete, masonry, brick, wood*, PVC and metal (iron, steel, aluminium, galvanized) should be primed with Zinsser Bulls Eye 123®.
Before painting, fill all nail holes and gouges with Zinsser Ready Patch® filling compound. Where necessary, spot prime knots and sap streaks with Zinsser B-I-N® Primer-Sealer.
*For new or unpainted cedar, redwood, or other resinous timbers prime with Zinsser Cover Stain®.
Application
Shake or stir well before using. Apply with synthetic bristle brush, roller or sprayer. For airless spraying, use a .017" tip and high-medium (2000-2500 PSI) pressure. Apply when air and surface temperatures are between 10° - 32°C and humidity is less than 86%. Avoid painting in direct sunlight and maintain a "wet edge" to avoid lapping.
Dry Time
At normal temperatures i.e. 21°C, Perma-White® Exterior dries to recoat in 1 hour. Full adhesion and hardness develop in 7 days.
