Polyvine Wax Finish Varnish retains the natural appearance of wood. This unique wax-like varnish is durable and silky to touch, reminiscent of the traditional feel of preserved furniture. Ideal for bookshelves, new wood, doors, staircases, furniture, wood and MDF, fire surrounds and kitchen cabinets. Child and food safe, meaning this product can be used on toys and food preparation areas.

Additional information

Surface Preparation

All surfaces must be clean and free from dust, dirt, oil and contamination.

Application

  • Ensure the product is well mixed.
  • Apply sparingly, brush out well using a good quality brush following the direction of the grain.
  • Apply the first coat and allow to dry.
  • Clear: Apply a second coat.
  • Colours: For deeper colour apply a second coat. If the colour is correct on the first coat, the finish and durability can be greatly enhanced by applying the second coat in clear.

Clean Up

Clean tools/equipment with warm soapy water, rinse well with clean water, allow to dry naturally.
