40th Birthday Celebrations for Brewers Gillingham!

This month, Brewers Gillingham will be celebrating 40 years of service to their local community! There will be exclusive offers and festivities throughout their birthday week so pop in and celebrate.

Our Gillingham store will be celebrating their 40^th birthday from 5^th-10^th of June. Kim and her team cannot wait to celebrate with you and have organised events with some of the top decorating brands including Graco, Mirka, Bedec and Osmo to name just a few! Pop in and see Kim, Charlie, Harry, Macauley, Nick and Vicki who have a whopping 61 years combined service at Brewers. 

A Brief History...

Nick has been with the store since day one and has seen many changes over the years! Brewers Gillingham first opened in Courtney Road before moving to the site we are on today. There were far less Brewers stores in the area, so Brewers Gillingham used to be a much larger site, with 3 vans delivering right across the area. The first manager, Peter Richards became the Area Development Manager for Gillingham and then moved to Head Office in Eastbourne to become a Commercial Sales Manager before retiring nearly ten years ago!

We asked Nick why he has stayed with Brewers for over 4 decades and he said: ‘Well, they’ve needed somebody to make the tea all this time! In all seriousness though, the Brewers family have been the best to work for. They really look after you and I am proud to be a part of such a great business.’

As well as trade days, there will be exclusive offers and a charity raffle. We can’t wait to celebrate!
