Celebrate 75 Years with Brewers Croydon

Brewers Croydon has been serving the local community since 1948! To celebrate, from the 14^th-19^th of August there will be special events, store exclusive offers and more, so be sure to pop by!

A brief history of Brewers Croydon…

Croydon was only a few miles away from the new Thornton Heath branch that opened 100 years ago, but in order to service customers working in that densely populated area, premises were needed in Croydon itself.

So, in 1948, the freehold of No. 1 Palace Road, a building contractors’ yard, was acquired and converted into the tenth branch of the Company to be managed by Arthur Mills who had, for a short while, been manager at Beckenham.

In 1972, Brewers Croydon relocated to a larger premises in the Croydon Airport Ind Estate to better serve the trade. The relocated Croydon branch grew into a strong trade branch, serving a very busy area and has remained there ever since!

The team today:

Branch manager Michael Robson has managed Brewers Croydon for 5 years. His team, Tony, Steve, Sophie, Rui, Munro, Douglas, Becks and Ashley are all on hand to answer any questions or give any advice you might need about the decorating industry! They are all looking forward to celebrating their birthday with you very soon!
