60L Of Albany Durable Matt Refreshes Citizens Advice In Eastleigh

The Brewers Foundation were thrilled
to donate 60L of Albany Durable Matt to the Eastleigh branch of Citizens Advice,
an organisation dedicated to helping people find a way forward with free advice
on a wide range of societal issues.
Based in Eastleigh, Hampshire, the
branch has been working hard at the heart of their community since 1942,
helping residents overcome some of life's greatest challenges including poverty,
poor quality housing and bad employers. They help thousands of people every
year as a small branch and the organisation is full of determined, hard-working
people, dedicated to supporting the community through the cost-of-living crisis
and beyond. Last year alone they dealt with over 14,000 issues (the busiest
year yet) and gained over £2,000,000 in income for their clients. Small but
mighty, they’re pushing hard for their clients every day.
The volunteers are the heart and soul
of the charity and have done a great deal in the last year to improve the building
and surroundings, but they still needed some help. The office, kitchenette and
bathrooms were in a sorry state and really need a refresh. The team were able
to pop into their local Brewers to pick a colour scheme to completely transform
the area. The main office is where most of the advice team spend their working
day, so rejuvenating this space was highly valued by the volunteer team.
