Brewers Brixton - A handyman's corner

In 2014 Handyman’s Corner on Acre Lane in Brixton joined the Brewers family after supplying paints, tools, plumbing supplies and ironmongery to South London for decades. 

When Brewers acquired the business it was split across two sites, one site housing the paint and one housing the ironmongery/plumbing and this was the way it had been since 1961. 

In January the two stores were officially merged into one on the corner site and this became a Brewers Decorator Centre.

The revamp has increased the shop floor space to allow for a wider selection of products and brands, including designer paints such as Farrow & Ball and Little Greene. In fact the Brewers ethos of being multibranded has really helped to develop this branch; as Handyman’s mainly concentrated on Leylands, whereas today we stock brands such as Albany, Crown and Dulux alongside designer ranges.
