Brewers Milton Keynes were delighted to donate 30L of paint and sundries to a local charity which supports women experiencing domestic abuse.

The charity, Eve, which runs two refuges and a women’s centre, desperately needed to redecorate some of the bedrooms in one of the refuges.

Head of Operations at Eve, Sharon Ferdinand-Pemberton said: ‘We truly appreciate your generosity and want you to know that what you have donated will enable some of the rooms in one of our safe accommodations to be a more homely and welcoming space.

‘I also want to thank Alison Haines and AIex Cerrone at Brewers Milton Keynes, who were so responsive to our need. Thank you!’

Eve is based in Northampton and was first established 40 years ago as Nene Valley Christian Family Refuge to provide refuge and support to women experiencing all types of domestic abuse. Since then, it has helped over 12,000 women heal and recover, as a stepping-stone towards living a safe and empowered life.
