Celebrating the Success of Future Painters & Decorators

Local Brewers Rep, Lauren Gordon, has been supporting Cambridge Regional College’s Painting and Decorating course with the donation of some fantastic prizes for the 2022 Painting and Decorating Festival of Achievement winners.

The lucky recipients were Connor Martin who received the Rising Star Award for outstanding improvement and development as a Diploma Level 1 student and Molly Purchase-Francis who received the Star Student Award at Diploma Level 2.

Lauren wanted to ensure the students received the highest trade-quality prizes they could take into their future careers so worked with several brands who kindly donated prizes. The students received; an Olfa knife, pack of blades and a brush pack, a Mirka storage box containing abrasive pads for hand sanding, a Tesa storage bag filled with a range of tapes essential to the trade, a Repaircare voucher for a day training course which usually costs between £120-£200, a £40 Brewers voucher to spend in their local store and a Brewers certificate acknowledging all their hard work.
