Playing Our Part In The Longford Scout HQ Redevelopment Project

The Brewers Foundation were delighted to donate 40L of Sandtex Trade High Cover Smooth to support the Longford Scout HQ Redevelopment Project.

The project is an ambitious effort to significantly enhance the facilities to better serve Longford Scouts growing community. 

Based in Manchester, the Scout group want to create a welcoming and inclusive environment that supports mental health and well-being by offering a safe place for adventure, learning, and personal development.

“After taking on additional building space our HQ had several rooms that had been unloved for some time, but thanks to extensive refurbishment including re-roofing and making them structurally sound, we’ve been able to bring them back to life. 

The paint donation from Brewers played a key role in finishing the transformation, allowing our volunteers to refresh the space and get it ready for use."

"The young people are especially excited as we now prepare to install our brand-new indoor caving system, which will be a fantastic addition to our HQ. 

Your support has helped us create a fresh, welcoming space where we can continue delivering great Scouting experiences for over 300 young people.
