The paint of choice for Tove Jansson exhibition

October 16th, 2017

An exciting palette of Mylands paints have been selected for the forthcoming Tove Jansson exhibition at the Dulwich Picture Gallery. The iconic Finnish artist and illustrator is most known as the creator of the Moomin characters and books.

Adorning the walls of the exhibition will be a vibrant palette of rich Mylands paint colours including Blueprint No.50, Covent Garden Floral No.270 and Lollypop No.275.

The exhibition running from 25th October 2017 – 28th January 2018 is the first UK show devoted to her works, providing an insight into Jansson’s career and graphic illustration talents.

Mylands Marble Matt Emulsion paint provides the perfect backdrop to their exhibitions with thoughtfully selected palettes; FTT-005, FTT-008 and FTT-011 from Mylands Film, Theatre and Television (FTT) collection which comprises twenty jewel bright and metallic shades originally developed for the big screen.

Drawn from Mylands’ archives, these special colours are a bright, bold celebration of Mylands longstanding association with the scenic arts and their starring role in some of the world’s greatest film and television productions.
