Donating To The Homeless Charity, Pass-it-On

The Brewers Foundation were delighted to donate £250 to Pass-it-On, a charity dedicated to support homeless and vulnerable people within the UK, in twelve major UK cities per year.

Pass-it-On began over 6 years ago and became a registered charity in October 2020. Their Board of Trustees, Steering Group, Volunteers and Community Helpers are all united by a common goal to help those less fortunate than ourselves.

In January, they aim to support in the region of 1000 people with local support groups. The cities currently targeted are – Manchester, Birmingham, Worcester, Liverpool, Oxford, Leicester, Coventry, London, Slough, Brighton, Wolverhampton and Newcastle. Their prime winter campaign takes place during January with a further two during the autumn and summer.

Pass-it-On provide new and pre-loved warm clothing, waterproof back packs, new sleeping bags, hygiene products, sanitary items, new thermal underwear, socks, self-heating hand warmers, gloves, hats, toothbrushes and toothpaste, baby wipes, water, protein snacks, jelly sweets and hot drinks.

All items are hand delivered to every individual at central locations as their volunteers walk the streets delivering the packs. Friendly conversation and a warm smile are often appreciated by those who are supported too.
