Eastbourne Rovers Running Success At Mile Night

Brewers were thrilled to sponsor Eastbourne Rovers’ Mile Night last month, taking place at Eastbourne’s Athletic Track and inviting local runners to participate in experiencing the thrill of the mile!

There were multiple seeded mile races on the track, music, commentary, photo finish timing and more. Spectators were invited into lane 4 to create a vibrant atmosphere and there was even a food truck for the hungry participants and spectators!

Eastbourne Rovers Athletic Club is a friendly volunteer led club catering for all ages and abilities, from 9 years old through to masters.

Brewers donated £250 to the event to cover some key costs. Proceeds of the event were raised to maintain the town’s track and secure its future for generations to come.

The fastest male and female runners won £30 each as well as a very special, hand-crafted trophy made from local slate and wood.
