Check Out This Amazing New Mural In Salisbury!

We were so happy to hear that artists David Shillinglaw and partner Lily Mixe recently popped into Brewers Salisbury to pick up some paint for their mural and we just had to share the finished result!

Sponsored by the Salisbury Civic Society, the mural was created on the side of the Fisherton Street building, whose owner was more than supportive of the project. The aim was to have a piece of ‘artwork that adds a new dimension to Fisherton Street and to Salisbury, with a focus on the future.’

The societies’ trustees selected the design of artists David Shillinglaw and Lily Mixe who have international reputations, working in locations across the globe including Ibiza, New York and Tokyo.

Their design on Fisherton Street places emphasis the diverse nature that can be found nearby, paying homage to the surroundings the mural can be found in. The final piece is an absolutely stunning explosion of colour and design, bringing a new wave of vibrancy to the area.
