Brighton manager sleeps rough to raise vital funds

March 18th, 2017

Last year over 4,000 people were sleeping rough, a number that has been recorded as being on the rise since 2010 (Source: www.homeless.org.uk).

The YMCA Downslink Group in Hove, East Sussex actively seeks to raise awareness and funds to support the young homeless in the greater Brighton area and local branch manager Jeremy Gale is getting involved in their next fundraising event.

Jeremy will be joining over 50 other fundraisers in the Sleep Easy 2017 challenge - 3 sleepouts that will all take place simultaneously in Brighton, Horsham and Guildford.  On Friday 24th March 2017 they will be bedding down in sleeping bags and cardboard boxes raising money to support the work of the local YMCA.
