The climate crisis is here, and communities across Africa are on the frontline.
Growing food, earning an income and providing for their families is
increasingly difficult on land that is rapidly losing its fertility.
That’s why we’re teaming up with Tree Aid, a charity which has been growing trees, restoring land and tackling poverty in Africa since 1987.
Together, we're joining forces to strengthen climate resilience, revitalising
landscapes and livelihoods.

Tree Aid provides communities with tailored training in climate-smart
agriculture techniques which benefit much more than the land’s productivity,
helping to strengthen communities, grow incomes, and take steps to create a
more just and equitable society.
Saidou Zoungrana, a farmer who took part in a Tree Aid project in
Burkina Faso said, “a tree is like a human. If you take care of a tree and it
continues to survive, it gives you fruits and fertilises the farm."
After years of declining crop yields due to the climate crisis, Saidou
and his community now benefit from the agroforestry training provided by Tree
Aid, adding that “even if the project is finished, the knowledge stays with
us".
