Crown Trade Satin Finish is a high VOC content satin finish. A washable oil based product that is applied by brush and is suitable for interior use.
Touch dry in 4-6 hours and recoatable after 16-24 hours. Satin is a tough, durable mid sheen finish for wood and metal.
Can be applied over most previously painted surfaces without an undercoat. On new surfaces apply over the top of a suitable primer.

For Interior use. Crown Trade Satin Finish is a tough, durable formulation offering a washable satin finish for interior woodwork and metalwork. Please note: Due to the drying process, the initial sheen will drop and the final sheen level will be achieved around 2 weeks after application.
Preparation
Ensure all surfaces are sound, dry, clean and free from dirt, oil, grease or other contamination. Bare surfaces should be primed with the appropriate Crown Trade Primer. Existing paintwork in sound condition should be washed down with a warm water detergent solution and abraded, rinse with clean water. Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding.
Application
Stir thoroughly. Always intermix packs for colour consistency. Please check for colour accuracy prior to application. Crown Paints is not liable for decorating costs caused as a result of an incorrect colour being applied. Crown Trade Satin Finish may be applied by brush. Apply 1 or 2 coats as necessary of Crown Trade Satin Finish. A characteristic of the new technology used in this product is that whiteness intensifies as the paint dries. Do not use in temperatures below 8°C or in high humidity.
Spreading Capacity
Approximately 16m² per litre dependent upon surface texture and porosity.
Drying
Touch dry in 4-6 hours in good drying conditions. Recoatable after 16 hours.
