Dulux Trade Sterishield Diamond Eggshell is a scrubbable anti-bacterial coating for interior walls and ceilings. Helps inhibit bacteria, MRSA and E.coli when used alongside appropriate cleaning.
Dulux Trade Sterishield Diamond Eggshell is more durable & long-lasting compared to standard emulsions, extending the decorative lifecycle. This finish has been produced with reduced carbon and energy, resulting in a low emissions formula.
Low-odour, water thinnable and recoatable in 2-4 hours. Suitable for application by brush, roller, or spray, with coverage up to 16m² per litre.
Available in Pure Brilliant White, Magnolia, and a range of over 14,000 colours.

Surface Preparation
To get the best results, ensure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean and dry (new surfaces particularly must be fully dry).
Remove all blistering, poorly adhering or otherwise defective coatings. Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960’s paint surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harmful lead.
Where necessary, wash the surface to remove dirt grease and powdery or dusty residues. Rinse with clean water and allow it to dry. Seal surfaces that remain powdery after thorough preparation with an appropriate plaster sealer. Where necessary, rub down and then wipe off with a damp, lint free cloth to avoid dust.
Application
Application is by brush, roller or airless sprayer.
As with all water based paints, do not apply at temperatures below 8ºC (as recommended by British Standard BS 6150).
Thinning on new or bare surfaces: Add up to 1 part clean water to 10 parts paint.
Normal use (not to be exceeded): Add up to 1 part clean water to 10 parts paint.
Conventional spray application: Add up to 1 part clean water to 2.5 parts paint.
Airless spray application: Add up to 1 part clean water to 5 parts paint.
Cleaning up
After use, remove as much product as possible from equipment before cleaning with water.
