Dulux Trade Weathershield Exterior Quick Drying Undercoat is thinned with water and applied by brush. This product is suitable for exterior use and is touch dry in 1-2 hours and recoatable after 2-4 hours.  

Dulux Trade Weathershield Exterior Quick Dry Undercoat is a water-based trim solution compared to traditional solvent-based finishes. The finish has been produced with reduced carbon and energy resulting in low VOC content finish.  

To get the best results, ensure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean and dry (new surfaces particularly must be fully dry) and free from all defective or poorly adhering material such as dirt, grease or wax.

Surface Preparation
For the best results, ensure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean and dry (new surfaces must be fully dry). Treat any areas affected by mould, lichens and algae with a suitable fungicidal wash.

System Information
STIR THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE. Treat any knots in wood with an appropriate knotting solution. New or bare surfaces: Prime all bare wood with 2 coats of Weathershield Preservative Primer +(BP) followed by 2 coats of Weathershield Quick Dry Exterior Undercoat. Previously painted surfaces: 1 coat of Weathershield Quick Dry Exterior Undercoat. Finishing: Allow to dry for a minimum of 2 hours between coats, then apply the appropriate Weathershield topcoat. 

Application
Brush only. Do not spray.

Cleaning Up
After use, remove as much paint as possible from brushes before cleaning with water. Do not use or store in extremes of temperature and protect from frost. When this paint container is empty please ask your stockist about recycling.
