Scrape: Remove flaking or defective paint and sand down the surface to remove any sheen. Refer to health, safety and environmental information.
Clean: Make sure the surface is clean (no dirt or grease) and dry.
Seal: If a bare surface, apply the appropriate Dulux Primer. Treat any knots in wood with a suitable knotting solution. If the surface is damaged, repair using the appropriate Polycell product. When painting radiators, make sure that they are cold.
Before Use: Do not stir or shake before use.
Apply: Apply using a clean, good quality brush. Apply a thick even
coat of paint taking care not to spread it too far. Failure to do so may
require a second coat, particularly when painting over a darker colour with a lighter topcoat. Leave a minimum of 16 hours between coats.
Dry: Leave for 16 hours to dry. Newly painted doors and windows should not be closed and radiators should not be heated until paint is fully dry.
Clean: For best results, scrape off excess paint from the brush and clean with Polycell Brush Cleaner.
Store: Store paint in dry conditions and protect from extreme temperatures.
