Johnstone's Trade Covaplus Vinyl Matt is a high opacity emulsion for interior use on plaster surfaces. Ideal for walls and ceilings. 


Can be applied to coated plaster surfaces without thinning. On new plaster, thin the first coat with water to manufacturer's recommendations. 

  • Easy to apply with excellent coverage. 
  • Low-odour, low in VOCs and environmentally friendly. 
  • Application is by brush, roller or spray with coverage up to 17sq/m per litre. 
  • Touch dry between 1-2 hours and recoatable between 2-4 hours.

Additional Information

Preparation
All surfaces to be painted should be clean, dry and free from loose and flaking material. Prime bare surfaces with the appropriate Johnstone's Primer. Rub down previously gloss painted surfaces with fine waterproof abrasive paper and rinse thoroughly. Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding.

Application
Stir well. Easy to apply by brush or roller. Also suitable for application by spray. Seal absorbent surfaces with a coat of Covaplus thinned up to 10% with clean water. If more than one can of a colour is to be used in the same area, intermix before use. Do not apply in temperatures below 10°C.

Coverage
Johnstone's Covaplus will cover approximately 12-14 square metres per litre depending on the nature and porosity of the surface being painted.

Drying Time
Touch dry in 1-2 hours. 
Recoatable after 2-4 hours. 

After Use
Remove as much product as possible from application equipment before cleaning. Replace lid firmly. Clean equipment immediately after use with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Some local authorities have special facilities for the disposal of waste coatings. Do not empty product into drains or watercourses.

General Information
Thinner: Clean water. To avoid the risk of spillage, always store and transport in a secure upright position.
Lift with care - gross weight does not exceed 16 kilograms, Do not use empty container for storing food.
