Johnstone's Stormshield Sol Silicate Masonry Paint is a breathable, matt finish designed for exterior lime render, plaster and masonry. The Sol Silicate technology is non film forming and fully breathable, preventing moisture build up and helps to preserve the surface structure. The finish also has excellent water repelling properties that provides long lasting protection against weather and dirt. The masonry paint resists microorganisms including mould for a long lasting finish. It can be used directly over most previously painted, rendered, or bare masonry surfaces including lime render/plasters, silicone renders, silicone paints, and surfaces that require a higher than average water permeability.
