Johnstone's Anti-Slip Flortred is a single pack finish which is suitable for use on internal steel, concrete, doorways, ramps & steps and wooden floors in light to medium traffic areas. This product can also be used on external surfaces such as walkways, car park spaces and other markings, but this product is not ideal for large external areas.

Provides a semi-gloss finish with a light aggregate for slip resistance. Tested for BS7076 Parts 1-3 for slip resistance, Johnstone's Anti-Slip Florted achieves a 'low slip Potential' classification according to the H.S.E. in both dry and wet conditions. Anti-Slip Flortred is resistant to mild chemicals, water, grease and oil spillages.

Johnstone's Anti-Slip Flortred is a single pack finish which is suitable for use on internal concrete, steel and wooden floors in light to medium traffic areas. It can also be used for exterior use to highlight walkways, car park spaces and other markings. Not suitable for use on large external areas. It provides a semi-gloss finish with a light aggregate for slip resistance. Tested to BS7976 Parts 1-3 for slip resistance, Johnstone's Anti-Slip Flortred achieves a 'low Slip Potential' classification according to the H.S.E. in both dry and wet conditions.

Preparation

All surfaces to be painted should be clean, dry and free from dust, laitance, loose or flaking material. New concrete or cement should be allowed to mature for several months before painting. Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding.

Application

  • Stir well before use.
  • Apply by brush or roller which should be fully loaded for best results.
  • Apply paint evenly by brush and avoid overspreading.
  • To ease application, the first coat may be thinned with up to 5% by volume of Johnstone's TC2 Thinner and Cleaner.
  • Allow to dry overnight before applying a second coat, if required.
