Armstead Trade Undercoat is a high VOC content finish. An oil based product that can be applied by brush or roller. Stir thoroughly before use.
Suitable for use on all types of interior and exterior metal and suitably primed masonry surfaces. Armstead Trade Undercoat is touch dry in 2-6 hours and recoatable after 6-16 hours.
Armstead Trade Undercoat has good opacity and a low sheen.

Surface Preparation
To get the best results with Armstead Trade Undercoat, make sure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean and dry (new surfaces particularly must be fully dry).
Application
Brush or roller only. For Health and Safety reasons related to all solvent based paints, spray application is not recommended.
Stir thoroughly before use. The normal recommendation is to apply one coat of Armstead Trade Undercoat, followed by one or two coats of Armstead Trade High Gloss.
Drying
Touch dry: 2-6 hours.
Recoat: 6-16 hours.
Cleaning Up
After use, remove as much paint as possible from equipment before cleaning with brush cleaner. Do not use or store in extremes of temperature. When this paint container is empty please ask your stockist about recycling.
