Eggshell No.17 is a washable, durable and scuff resistant environmentally friendly paint which is suitable for interior woodwork. Silk finish and is totally oil and acrylic free due to a unique formulation. This product contains virtually no VOCs.

Eggshell No.17 is ideal for interior wood such as window frames, doors, furniture, skirting boards, shelving and other smooth planed wood. Not recommended for floors or other heavy-duty surfaces.

Our water based Eggshell No.17 is perfect for painting your interior woodwork because it has a unique oil and acrylic free formulation that dries super quick to a silk sheen.

Preparation

Timber surfaces should be prepared with Earthborn Multi Purpose Primer and lightly sanded prior to application. Previously painted surfaces should be sanded to provide a key, then primed with Earhtborn Multi Purpose Primer. Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding. Make sure surfaces are clean and dry with no loose or flaky material. Remove any resin exuding from the wood with alcohol or a similar product. Do not apply in temperature below 8°C.

Application

  • Give a good stir before use.
  • For best results apply two coats undiluted Eggshell No.17.
  • Give a light sanding between coats.
  • Apply by brush, roller or spray.
  • Earthborn Eggshell No.17 dries super quick, so be careful not to 'over brush' or 'lay off' areas already painted.
