Thermoguard Timbercoat 30/60 Basecoat is part 1 of system to achieve 30 or 60 minute Fire Resistance for compartmentation. The finished system forms a smooth, aesthetically pleasing, durable finish resistant to repeated cleaning on internal and external wood.

 As part of a complete system, it controls the surface spread of flame and fire propagation, total smoke control, flaming droplets and particulates to BS EN Class B s1 d0.

In the event of a fire, it expands, forming a heat-resistant char to insulate the surface. Overcoated with Thermoguard Safewood or Dualcoat Anti-Microbial Smoke & Flame Retardant.
 
A Fire Certificate is issued on request for each specified project for insurance, Fire and Building Control Authority and Client Records.
