Thermoguard Safewood Mattwood is a decorative and protective finish applied over Safewood systems and Fire Varnish Basecoat.
Safewood system protects wood and wood-based boards and achieves BS EN Class B s2 dO safest standards.

Multiple coats of different paint types and brands can cause a flame spread risk, as well as wood. Insulation foam installed in modern buildings has been revealed to be highly flammable and to release cyanide gas, making control of flame spread more important than ever.
For years, common flame-retardant paints contained Timonox Antimony, which releases lethal antimony-chloride gas. Thermoguard Safewalls and Safewood protect against all of these risks.
