Blackfriars Stabilising Solution is a low VOC content finish. A product which is thinned with water and is applied by brush. 
Suitable for both interior and exterior use. Touch dry in 2-4 hours and recoatable after 4 hours.

Surface Preparation

Ensure the surface to be treated is clean, dry, and free from wax, grease and oil. Remove any loose flaking materials by scraping and dry brushing. Treat any algae or mould growth with Blackfriar Anti-Mould Solution prior to application.

Application

  • Stir thoroughly prior to use with a broad stirrer.
  • Can be applied by brush or roller.
  • Apply  generous even coat, a second coat may be required on particularly porous or powdery surfaces.
  • Thinning - Not recommended.

Clean Up

Remove as much product as possible from the application equipment before washing with water.

Do not empty into drains or water courses. Some local authorities have special facilities for the disposal of waste coatings.
