Polyvine Metal Leaf Adhesive is a acrylic size adhesive for bonding metal leaf to a variety of interior surfaces, with an extended open time.

Water-based product which is easy to apply and offers 24 hour opening time. Low odour and brushes to be washed in water.

When this adhesive is applied thinly the surface will remain primed for up to 24 hours, this allows larger projects to be dealt with at ease.

Additional Information

Application:

  • Seal porous surfaces.
  • Ensure Acrylic size is well mixed. Ensure all surfaces are clean and free from grease, oil, dirt and contaminants.
  • Apply 1 coat using a good quality brush.
  • Leave until the coating turns clear, minimum of 15 minutes.
  • Apply the metal leaf.

Clean Up:

Clean tools/equipment with warm soapy water, rinse well with clean water, and allow to dry naturally.
