Additional information

Polycell Crack-Free Ceilings is a great way to restore cracked ceilings to a smooth 'good as new' finish. This flexible matt paint formulation uses Polyfilla technology to not only cover cracks but prevent them from reappearing.

Before You Start
  • Ensure that surfaces are clean, dry and sound. Seal new, bare and porous surfaces with Polycell Problem Wall Treatment.
  • Fill any cracks larger than hairline with an appropriate Polycell Polyfilla before applying.
  • For best results on smooth ceilings use a short pile (up to 5mm, 3/16") roller.

How To Use
  • Stir before use and transfer to a roller tray for easy roller loading.
  • Apply evenly and avoid overspreading.
  • Polycell Crack-Free Ceilings can be applied by brush - load generously and avoid overspreading.
  • Touch in corners, edges and around light fittings with a small brush.
  • Surface will normally be touch dry after 2 - 3 hours.
  • A second coat may be applied once the first coat is fully dry (overnight).

Finishing Off
  • Remove any splashes immediately before they dry.
  • Wash tools in warm soapy water immediately after use.
  • Do not use or store in extremes of temperature and protect from frost.
  • If over-painting, best results will be achieved by allowing Crack-Free Ceilings 2 - 3 days to dry thoroughly.

Coverage
5 litres will cover approximately 25m² to 40m². Uneven surfaces or a thicker coat
will reduce coverage.
