Surface Preparation

If the surface is porous, it should be sealed with a coat of Craquelure topcoat and allowed to dry.

Application

  • Apply and even coat of Polyvine Craquelure Base Coat.
  • Use a good quality brush (preferably synthetic); apply carefully to avoid brush marks.
  • On application the base coat is opaque. As it dries, it clears but remains tacky, even if speeded up by warming with a hair dryer.
  • Apply a thin coat of Craquelure Top Coat.

Clean Up

Clean tools/equipment with warm soapy water, rinse well with clean water, and allow to dry naturally.
