Rustins Quick Drying Matt Black Paint is a smooth matt finish that is ideal for use on wood & metal. For interior & exterior use.
Preparation
The surface must be clean and free from wax and grease. If already painted, remove flaking paint by scraping or with Rustins Strypit Paint and Varnish Stripper. If applying to metal, remove any rust with a scraper or with Rustins Rust Remover and apply one coat of Rustins Red Oxide Metal Primer. It is not necessary to apply Knotting to knots on bare wood, but if the wood is very absorbent, a coat of Rustins Primer & Undercoat may be applied before applying the Matt Black Paint.
Application
Apply liberally and evenly with a synthetic fibre brush. Do not apply at temperatures below 10°C or in conditions of high
humidity.
Re-coating Time
The paint will be touch dry in approximately 30 minutes depending upon the temperature and humidity and can be re-coated after a minimum of two hours.
