Rustins MDF Sealer is formulated with a water based acrylic emulsion which has a milky white appearance and dries to a clear sealer. Once dry this product can be painted on by either solvent or water based paints and varnishes.

Rustins MDF clear sealer is formulated with a water based acrylic emulsion which has a milky-white appearance whilst liquid but dries to a clear sealer. When dry it can be painted or varnished with solvent or water based products.
Preparation
The surface must be clean and free from wax and grease.
Application
- Stir before use and apply liberally and evenly with a synthetic fibre brush, pad or sponge.
- If finishing with a gloss paint, edges and rebated or routed areas may require a second application of sealer.
- For best results, apply an undercoat after sealing and before applying final gloss paint.
