Additional information
Rustins Radiator Enamel is based on a special non-yellowing acrylic resin emulsion pigmented with titanium oxide. Heat-resistant to 105°C. This produces a brilliant white finish that does not yellow on hot radiators. It is also excellent on wood which must be undercoated. It can also be used as a touch-up paint on white equipment such as refrigerators. Do not use at temperatures below 10°C or in conditions of high humidity.
Preparation
Previously painted radiators must be clean and free from flaking paint and rust. Clean with White Spirit, Rustins Surface Cleaner or Sugar soap. If existing paint is not white, apply a coat of Rustins Quick Drying Primer & Undercoat. Bare metal should be primed with Rustins Red Oxide Primer. Remove rust before priming with Rustins Rust Remover.
Application
Stir well before use. Apply liberally and evenly with a synthetic fibre brush. Allow radiators to cool before painting. Radiators can be used between coats if necessary.
Re-coating Time
The paint will be touch dry in approximately 30 minutes depending on temperature and humidity and can be re-coated after four hours.
Coverage
This tin will cover approximately 3m² in 1 coat depending on the absorbency of the surface.
