Single pack very fast-drying multi-purpose single pack floor paint for interior and exterior use, rain-proof and recoatable after just one hour, can be applied on slightly damp surfaces. The product will cure sufficiently in approximately 24 hours to accept light traffic (bicycle, car, etc.), but allow 48 hours before bringing the area back into full use (heavy traffic; trucks etc). Cold, damp or humid weather will delay curing. Apply by brush or medium pile type roller, do not apply in areas which will be constantly under water.

Additional Information

TARMACOAT is a water-based flexible acrylic paint, that can be used on a multitude of surfaces: on tarmac, on pavement, asphalt, car park bays, line markings, tennis courts, playgrounds and many more. Rain-proof and recoatable after just one hour. Excellent resistance to U.V. and weathering.

Coverage
4-8 m²/I at 80 pm dry.

Storage
Store in dry conditions, between 5°C and 25°C.

Shelf life
2 years in its sealed original packaging.

Surface Preparation
Ensure the surface is clean, sound and dry. (slightly damp is acceptable). Tarmacoat can be applied to existing paint providing all poorly bonded material is removed and glossy surfaces are dulled using abrasive paper.

Application
Apply by brush or medium pile type roller. One coat is generally sufficient although a second coat may be required on very porous or very rough surfaces. Avoid applying too thickly. Do not apply externally if rain or frost is forecast or if the temperature is below 10°C. Overcoat with 9200 Rust-O-Thane for extra durability and easier cleaning.

Curing Time
The product is rainproof and overcoatable after 1 hour. The product will cure sufficiently in approximately 24 hours to accept light traffic, but allow 48 hours before bringing the area back into full use. Cold, damp or humid weather will delay curing.

Limitations
Do not apply in areas which will be constantly under water.

Cleaning of Tools
Clean tools in warm soapy water before the product has started to cure.
