Additional information
A highly durable, scrubbable stain resistant, flat matt finish with flawless, even coverage. Protects against scuffs and stains. For use in homes, schools or commercials buildings, AllClean Matt is great for ceilings and walls in any interior area. Unlike ordinary paints, AllClean Matt produces a tough, scrubbable finish that withstands stains, moisture and resists dirt pickup, keeping the painted finish looking fresher for longer. Ideal for new or previously painted wallboard, plaster ceilings and walls. Perfect for busy environment that require frequent cleaning.
Preparation
Surfaces must be clean, sound and free of dirt, dust, grease, wax, wallcovering adhesive, soap residues, loose paint or other surface contamination. Wash surfaces with an appropriate household cleaning solution and rinse thoroughly. Remove all existing mould and mildew before painting using Blackfriar Fungicidal Wash. Check for satisfactory paint adhesion by cutting an "X" with a razor blade in the old paint film. Apply cellophane tape over the "X" and pull tape quickly away. If old paint released, remove by scraping. Sand rough areas and remove dust. Take special precautions during preparation pre-1960 paint surfaces as they contain harmful lead. Avoid inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding. Spot prime and fill all nail holes and gouges with a suitable filler. Seal all stains with an appropriate stain killing primer-sealer, such as B-I-N or Bulls Eye 1-2-3 Primer-Sealer before painting.
