Additional Information
Surface Preparation
Surfaces should be clean, dry, sound and free from damp, dust, grease and other contaminants. Any mould growth present must be treated with Albany Fungicidal Wash prior to hanging.
Porous Surfaces
Should be sized with this product mixed with an equal quantity of water or a proprietary wall size. Allow to dry completely before papering. Highly alkaline surfaces require a suitable primer.
Non-absorbent Surfaces
Such as gloss or silk painted walls should be rubbed down with an abrasive paper and primed with Albany Wallpaper Primer Sealer.
Pasting & Hanging
Always follow the wallcovering manufacturers roll label. Apply adhesive to back of wallcovering or wall by brush or roller. Protect surrounding areas (floor coverings etc.) from splashes. Remove any adhesive from the decorative face of the wallcovering immediately to avoid staining. Clean tools and equipment in warm soapy water.
