Osmo Wood Protector is a preservative based wood primer for interior and exterior use. A microporous primer what will not crack, flake or peel and is suitable for woods prone to moisture, making it ideal for areas such as bathrooms, wet rooms and kitchens on flooring, window frames and joinery.

Animal and plant friendly also, so can also be used on raised garden beds and animal housing.

Application is by brush, roller or dipping with coverage up to 8.4 sq/m per litre. Dry in 24 hours when brushed and 36 hours when dipped.

    Surface Preparation

    Wood surfaces must be clean, dry and frost free. Do not thin. Stir well before use.

    Clean old microporous stains thoroughly. Old paints and lacquers must be completely removed. Fill small cracks, larger joints or holes in wood.

    A trial application is required, especially for unfamiliar surfaces.

    Application

    Apply with a flat brush a microfibre roller, or by dipping. Coat the clean, dry and frost free wood generously - if possible, on all sides.

    The topcoat should be carried out within one week.

    Cleaning up

    Dispose of leftover product and completely emptied packaging according to local official guidelines. Only completely emptied cans can be recycled.
