Dulux Trade Yacht Varnish is a solvent-based flexible coating for exterior wood. 

Suitable for softwood and hardwood doors, windows and joinery. Actively prevents UV damage and will last for up to 3 years. Dries to an attractive high build gloss finish. 

Application is by brush with coverage up to 16sq/m per litre. Recoatable between 16-24 hours.

Additional information

Surface Preparation

To get the best results, ensure surface to be varnished are sound, clean and dry. Remove all loose and defective coatings and previous paintwork, if necessary stripping back to bare wood.

Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960's paint surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harmful lead.

Application

Brush only. For Health & Safety reasons relating to all solvent-based paints, spray application is not recommended.

Clearing Up

After use, remove as much product as possible from brushes before cleaning with brush cleaner.
