Dulux Trade Quick Drying Varnish is a satin finish for interior wood. It is a water-based trim solution compared to traditional solvent-based finishes. This finish has been produced with reduced carbon and energy.  


Ideal for doors, windows, joinery, and furniture. Tough, durable, and resistant to knocks, scuffs and washing.  

Application is by brush with coverage up to 20sq/m per litre. Recoatable between 2 hours.

Additional information

Surface Preparation

To get the best results, ensure surface to be varnished are sound, clean and dry (new surfaces particularly must be fully dry) before testing. Clean off any wax polish, grease or finger marks with white spirit.

Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960's paint surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harmful lead.

Thoroughly rub down all surfaces in the direction of the grain to provide a 'key', using 'wet flatting' methods where possible, then wipe off with a damp, lint free cloth.

Application

Brush or roller only. Do not spray. For best results, use a good quality synthetic (nylon polyester) brush, designed for use with water-based paints, stains and varnishes. Brush out evenly, taking care to avoid overlaps and finishing along the grain.

Clearing Up

After use, remove as much product as possible from brushes before cleaning with brush cleaner.
