Ronseal Ultra Tough Varnish is a solvent-based coating for interior wood. The traditional formula is tough and durable and ideal for use all around the home. Highly resistant to knocks, scuffs, heat, household cleaners and water. Long lasting protection with a clear and natural finish.

Additional Information

Surface Preparation

Ensure the surface is clean and dry and abraded to a smooth surface. Joints, splits and other imperfections should be filled with a suitable wood filler, e.g. Ronseal Multi Purpose Filler. Allow to harden and abrade to a smooth surface. Remove all particles of dust by vacuuming and/or wiping with a cloth dampened with white spirit. Oily woods such as teak should be thoroughly washed with white spirit. Stir the varnish thoroughly before and during use.

Clean Up

All equipment should be cleaned immediately after use with white spirit. Remove as much product from brushes and equipment prior to cleaning.
